DAY 01 : TRIVANDRUM – KOVALAM – OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL

On arrival at Trivandrum Airport/railway station, meet and proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing (if time permits). Trivandrum is built over seven hills and is known as the ‘City of the Sacred Serpent’. Thiruvananthapuram derives its name from anantha, the serpent upon which the deity of the city, Padmanabha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, reclines. The Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple is the landmark of the city. The main other attractions of this city is Puthen Maliga Palace Museum, Napier Museum, and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. After sightseeing transfer to Kovalam where you will check in at resort for 0 nights. Kovalam, one of Kerala’s most popular beach resorts is situated just 15 kms from Trivandrum. DAY 02 : KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI - SIGHTSEEING – OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL

After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari, the place where the 3 oceans meeting together (Arabian sea, Indian Ocean & Bay of Bengal). En route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, the magnificent wooden palace constructed by the Maharajas of Travancore. Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India and also a pilgrimage center of Hindus. After lunch at Kanyakumari, go by boat to visit Vivekanada rock and Kanyakumari temple. Later proceed back to Kovalam, On the way back visit Sucheendram Temple, a well known temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 03 : KOVALAM – ALLEPPEY – KUMARAKOM (HOUSEBOAT)

After breakfast drive from Kovalam to Alleppey where you will check in at A/C DELUXE HOUSEBOAT to go for a 22 hrs cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala. Alleppey has a large network of canals and is a center for backwater cruises in our state. The famous Nehru Trophy Boat race - the most colorful of boat races, is held here on the second Saturday of August every year. During the cruise you will have stops to go for short walks through the villages. The villagers are normally pleasant and generous to the tourists!!!. Overnight in the Houseboat.

DAY 04 : KUMARAKOM - OVERNIGHT AT RESORT

Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat transfer to Kumarkom, one of the most beautiful backwater site in this state. On arrival check in at backwater resort for 02 nights. Kumarakom is a paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in this small water world you’ll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. DAY 05 : KUMARAKOM – PERIYAR – BOATRIDE – OVERNIGHT STAY

After breakfast you’ll drive through the beautiful mountain ranges of Western Ghats and cardamom hills to Periyar, one of the well maintained wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel for 01 night. This is a beautiful wild life sanctuary famous for elephants. Periyar is also famous for its spice plantations. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 06 : THEKKADY – MUNNAR – OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL

After breakfast drive to Munnar. The drive periyar to Munnar will be an unforgettable experience through the cardamom hills and by the valleys and hills. This will be one of the best drive you have during this tour, the most beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above sea level. The town is situated at the confluence of the three mountains streams Mudrapuza, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are lakes, reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. Eravikulam National Park is 30 Kms from Munnar. Munnar was the summer resort of British govt. in south. On arrival check in at Hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day free to relax or for own activities. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07 : MUNNAR – SIGHTSEEING – OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL

Munnar is most famous for its tea and nearly 55,000 acres of land covered with tea and look like a green carpet on earth. Morning drive to the Munnar hills to visit Eravikulam national park, Mattupetty dam, the scattered villages and later the tea factory. A visit to this beautiful hilly town (old Munnar) and the local market will be interesting. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 08 : MUNNAR – COCHIN – OVEWRNIGHT AT HOTEL

After breakfast check out and drive to Cochin. Cochin – Queen of Arabian seas, is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. The ancient Temples, Churches and Synagogues in this district are of special interest to archeologists and historians. The Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch palace and the Bolgatty palace in Cochin enrich the heritage of Kerala. On arrival check in at hotel for 01 night. After noon go for half day city tour of Kochi includes, St. Francis church, Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. Overnight stay at HOTEL.

DAY 09 : COCHIN DEPARTURE

Morning at leisure. Later transfer to Cochin airport for departure.
